Referral Partners

A trusted place to send your clients, and a network we can refer ours to too.

Your clients come to you because they trust you. Occasionally, that means they bring you a problem that sits outside the work you normally handle: an employee dispute, a contract that needs reviewing, a difficult termination, a commercial disagreement or a letter that needs a considered response. Aubrey International works with accountants, payroll providers, HR consultants, insurance brokers, recruiters and other professional advisers who want somewhere reliable to refer those matters. Just as importantly, we want to know the professionals we can confidently introduce our own clients to when they need services outside Aubrey's remit. Our aim is to build genuine two-way professional relationships rather than simply collect referral sources.

Your relationship stays yoursWe deal with the matter referred and respect the professional relationship already in place.
We want to refer tooWe want to understand what you do so we can consider you when an Aubrey client needs support outside our own remit.
No forced reciprocityThere is no one-for-one requirement and no expectation to refer where it is not right for the client.
How we work

You keep the client relationship.

A referral to Aubrey does not mean handing over your client. We deal with the specific matter referred to us and respect the professional relationship you have already built with them. Where appropriate, and with the client's permission, we can keep you informed and work alongside you where our respective roles overlap. We are not interested in using an introduction as an opportunity to displace the referring adviser. If your client comes to us because you introduced them, we want them to return to you for the work you already do for them.

Mutual referrals

We would like to refer clients to you too

Aubrey clients regularly need support that falls outside our own scope. They may need an accountant, payroll provider, insurance broker, recruiter, HR specialist, finance professional or another trusted business adviser. When that happens, we would much rather introduce them to somebody we know and are comfortable recommending than simply tell them to search for a provider themselves. That is why we want to understand what our referral partners do, the clients they work best with, the areas they cover and the types of introduction they would welcome.

If you become part of Aubrey's referral network and we encounter a client whose needs fit your services, we would be pleased to consider introducing them to you. There is no requirement for referrals to be matched one-for-one and no expectation that either party should recommend the other where it would not be right for the client. The relationship should work because there is a genuine professional fit, not because anybody is keeping score.

Practical boundaries

We stay within the matter referred

We establish what the client needs, explain the proposed scope and cost before substantive work begins, and let the client decide whether to proceed. If a matter falls outside what Aubrey can appropriately assist with, we will say so. Where we know a suitable referral partner, we may also be able to point the client in the right direction rather than stretching a matter beyond our proper remit.

What you can refer

Business matters that need a practical next step.

Aubrey supports UK businesses that often do not have an in-house legal team but still need clear advice, careful document work and commercially proportionate support when something becomes difficult or urgent.

Employment and HR

Employment contracts, disciplinary and grievance processes, dismissal and redundancy, workplace investigations, performance management, Employment Tribunal risk and practical HR support.

Commercial contracts and documents

Contract reviews, terms and conditions, NDAs, confidentiality provisions, commercial correspondence and practical contractual risk reviews.

Business disputes

Early assessment of commercial disputes, debt and payment issues, contractual disagreements and formal correspondence.

Privacy, compliance and business risk

GDPR and privacy reviews, business policies, practical compliance support and a second pair of eyes where a client needs the legal and commercial issues separated quickly.

Accessible first steps

A proportionate way for your client to begin.

Referral does not have to mean committing a client to a large piece of work. Aubrey offers small, clearly scoped entry points where that is the sensible way to start, alongside ongoing support and standard professional work where a matter requires more.

Quick Check£50

An initial review of a discrete issue where the client needs to understand whether there is a problem and what the sensible next step may be.

Legal and Commercial Triage£250

A more substantive review of the circumstances, documents, risks and available options.

HR Access£49 per month

A low-cost route for businesses that want ongoing access to practical HR support.

HR & Employment SupportFrom £99 per month

For employers needing more regular practical assistance, with other work scoped separately where appropriate.

Tell us about your business too

We do not only want to know when you might need Aubrey. We would like to understand when Aubrey might need you.

If you provide services to businesses or individuals that complement our own, tell us what you do, the clients you work best with, the geographical areas you cover and the kinds of introductions you would be happy to receive. That gives us something much more useful than a name in a directory. It gives us a professional we can have in mind when an Aubrey client says, “Do you know somebody who can help with this?”

A good referral relationship should make both businesses stronger. Clients receive help from people their existing adviser is comfortable recommending, and neither business has to start searching from scratch when a need arises.

A referral is not an obligation to instruct. Scope and cost are agreed with the client before substantive work begins. Joining the network does not create exclusivity or guarantee referral volume in either direction.
