Employee support · Written review

Got a problem at work and not sure what to do next?

Send us the situation. We will identify what matters, the practical next steps and anything you should be careful not to miss.

What it is

A quick, independent view when work has become messy.

You do not need to know whether your problem is a grievance, discrimination issue, capability matter or something else. Tell us what has happened and the main question you want answered.

The Workplace Quick Check is designed for an employee or worker who needs a clear written view before deciding what to do next.

How it works

Simple, written and deliberately low-friction.

No booking and no call to attend. You submit the problem first. If it fits the Quick Check, we send the £39 invoice.

01

Tell us what happened

Complete the short enquiry form. Please refer to your employer simply as “Employer” and do not identify them.

02

Email supporting documents

After submitting, email any relevant documents to quickcheck@aubreyinternational.com. Redact the employer’s name and identifying details first.

03

We check suitability

If the issue fits the £39 service, we send an invoice. If it needs something different, we tell you before you pay anything.

04

Pay by bank transfer

Work begins once cleared payment and the information reasonably required for the review have been received.

05

We review it

We focus on the main issues, practical next steps, evidence and timing. If something important is unclear, we may ask you by email.

06

Receive the written answer

We send your Quick Check in writing. Reasonable follow-up questions arising directly from the response are included subject to fair use.

What you receive

A concise answer focused on what matters.

  • Our understanding of the main issue.
  • The points we think deserve your attention.
  • Practical next steps.
  • Evidence or information to preserve or obtain.
  • Anything that appears especially time-sensitive.
  • Whether you can probably handle it yourself or should consider further help.

We do not promise a particular word count. The value is the assessment, not the length.

What is not included

The £39 service has a deliberately narrow purpose.

It does not ordinarily include drafting or rewriting grievances, appeals, letters or emails; contacting your employer; attending meetings; negotiation or representation; substantial bundle review; detailed compensation calculations; extensive research; or conducting Tribunal or court proceedings.

Existing proceedings do not automatically prevent a limited Quick Check question, but the service does not include management or conduct of those proceedings.

Need an answer urgently?

The £39 Quick Check is not an emergency service.

We aim to answer most complete enquiries within approximately 12 hours, but please allow up to two business days once we have payment and the information reasonably required to undertake the review.

If we need more information from you, the turnaround will depend in part on how quickly it is provided.

Example

If you contact us at 4:30pm because you have a disciplinary hearing at 9:00am the following morning, that falls outside the £39 Quick Check.

We may be able to provide an Emergency Employment Review from £149, subject to availability and an individually agreed scope and deadline.

Submitting an enquiry does not stop, extend or protect any workplace, tribunal or legal deadline. A deadline is not accepted or guaranteed unless we expressly confirm it.

Fair use

No arbitrary page-counting.

You may provide the information and documents reasonably necessary for us to understand one workplace problem or connected sequence of events.

If the volume or complexity is substantially more than can reasonably be considered within a £39 initial review, we may ask you to narrow the material or offer a more detailed service.

We never carry out additional chargeable work without agreeing it with you first.

Follow-up

Reasonable clarification is included.

Reasonable follow-up questions arising directly from our written response are included on a fair-use basis and should normally be raised within seven days.

New problems, substantial new evidence, significant later developments, drafting and continuing advice are outside that follow-up allowance.

Before you send anything

Please redact your employer’s identity.

For the Workplace Quick Check, we do not normally need to know who your employer is. Refer to them as “Employer” and redact their name, logo and other information that directly identifies them from documents where reasonably practicable.

You do not need to anonymise every manager, colleague or witness.
